Golf Simulator Set for Makeover
Club golfers will soon be able to tee off on the world's top courses thanks to a brand-new, state-of-the-art golf simulator.
The Club's simulator, the 19th Hole, will be upgraded to a Trackman system and unveiled on July 10, with an all-day golf event on July 11.
Trackman's hyper-realistic simulator experience is down to its radar technology and top-of-the-range software that packs a powerful 3D graphics engine and applies ball trajectory and collision physics.
Members will have the chance to select from more than 130 courses, including Royal Troon and St Andrews.
"It doesn't matter how good or bad the player is," says Trackman Japan's Yuki Endo. "We have systems for every golfer and every player, so anyone can enjoy the Trackman simulator."
On July 11, the Club will also introduce its team of three golf pros, including its first-ever female instructor, to help Members get the most out of the simulator's swing-analysis technology while improving their game.
The second-floor 19th Hole will be closed from June 21 for the new Trackman system to be installed.
